This platformer changed my life, its simple yet effective design and art style, and unique and interesting controls truly make it platformer of the year. After playing this game my Ex-wife finally came back and my Kids finally called me after a hiatus of 15 years, this game is MAGIC I SAY.
I was recommended this game by a friend and at first I thought this was JUST a fun platformer game, but the more I played, the more i thought of the genuineness of this masterpiece, truly a commentary on the current state of gaming. We are taught that if they have a health bar, then they are enemies and are to be killed even if all they do is jump. This game makes me think of how the so-called enemies are just pawns, chess pieces if you will, to the game played by the boss and the player. The game also uses coins that only help with combat and even some “TNT explosion upgrade” can even be a detriment. I think this game is also a great commentary on why we are so focused on finishing things and that sometimes we need to slow down and re-orient ourselves. One thing i love about this game is lack of ads and its difficulty. It might just be me being on a trackpad, but the difficulty is very refreshing, almost like when you get the green bubble in hoi4. OK that's not a great example, but still this game has some amazing visuals and i have already recommended it a few people. It really is like a fresh breath of ocean air after a long time being stuck inland.
wow such a hidden gem!!
